It’s been a busy few weeks, and mostly unrelated to performing, writing or recording. Our daughter had her first Marching Band camp, and after a week away, has returned unscathed, and more skilled.
The pre-band camp ramp up ended with our only vehicle making it’s desire to head for the scrap heap known, and the search for a cheap alternate vehicle began. The car held together long enough to perform last Saturday, get Bridget sent off to camp on Monday, and hold on until Wednesday, when we were able to cross grade from an old Saturn wagon to a slightly older minivan that was in better shape and had lower miles.
This weekend, we fetched our daughter from camp, and enjoyed watching their debut of this year’s program, got ready for next week, and spent some quality time with friends.
Next week marks my first time packing for a show in a minivan, and with extra storage room… it will be glorious! Actually, they provide the PA, so I won’t really need that much, but the following weekend, oh, the gear I can pack. *maniacal grin*
Oh, that said, I’ll be sharing the stage with No Sin In Eden next Saturday, at the Plymouth Coffee Bean, starting at 8pm, in downtown Plymouth, MI. If you’re in the neighborhood, stop in and say hi. 🙂
The following Saturday, Sunday, and the next Saturday, I’m in Highland, MI from 10 am to 2 pm, performing at the market area of their big festival.
The final Saturday inSeptember, I’m sharing the stage with Tim Foote at the Biddle and Blend, in downtown Wyandotte, from 7-9 pm
Good times, great music, see you soon!
